What kind of welding does Jacksboro Services do?
Farm and ranch welding — repair and practical fabrication. Gates, corral panels and pipe fence; trailer frames, floors and hitches; cracked buckets, brackets, guards and implement frames; cattle guards and feeders. We work mobile across Jack, Palo Pinto, Young and Wise counties — we bring the rig to the work. This is working-iron welding: we are not a certified structural or code shop, and for engineered structural work you want somebody who is.
What we weld
Corral panels & pens
Working pens take a beating. Bent and broken panels, sorting gates, headgate mounts and alley repair.
Trailers
Frame cracks, rusted crossmembers, floor supports, fenders, ramps, hitches and jack mounts.
Equipment repair
Cracked buckets, broken loader brackets, worn quick-attach plates and implement frames — often on the same visit as the mechanical repair.
Guards & brackets
Practical fabrication: grille and light guards, toolbox and receiver mounts, brackets for whatever you are trying to bolt on.
Cattle guards & feeders
Cattle guard repair and reset, feeder and hay ring repair, and the odd fabrication job that has no proper name.
Questions people ask us
Do you really come out, or do I have to haul it somewhere?
We come out. That is the whole point of a mobile rig — gate, panel, fence and equipment repair happens where the thing sits, and we do not have a yard for people to haul things to. Work that genuinely needs a piece lifted or jigged we schedule separately and talk through with you first.
What do you charge?
Mobile welding is generally hourly plus materials and a call-out that reflects the drive. For something well-defined — a gate built to an opening, a set of panels repaired — we can usually give you a job price. Call with the details.
Can you build a gate to fit my opening?
Yes, and it is one of the more satisfying jobs we do. Measure the opening, tell us how heavy you want it and whether it needs to keep anything particular in, and we will build it and hang it.
Do you weld aluminum?
Most of what we do is steel — that is what farm and ranch iron is made of. Call and ask about a specific aluminum job rather than assuming either way.
Can you weld on a trailer I still need to tow?
Usually yes, and we would rather look at it before you tow it than after. Frame cracks have a habit of getting dramatically worse at highway speed.

We are based in Jacksboro and work out from there across Jack County, Palo Pinto County, Young County and Wise County. If you are close to the edge of that circle, call and ask — we will tell you straight whether it is worth the drive for both of us.
